The forum has finally been upgraded to the ZetaBoards service. What does this mean? Well hopefully we'll no longer get any spam bots registering (registrations have been turned off in recent months) and this should allow any new members to sign up.

Also there are lots of new features. One of which I have already used as a quick demonstration. In your profile (you can edit your profile by accessing the link on the top navigation), you can choose which GTA game is your favourite (let me know if I missed any!). This will be shown in your member information (where your post count, avatar etc. are) next to your posts.

Also, to enable the PM pop-up (this is disabled by default), go to the PM message center (again, via the navigation at the top) and goto PM System Settings ( http://forum.gtaxtreme.com/msg/?c=7 ). Here you can enable the PM pop-up as well as automatic message tracking.

Private messages are now in the form of conversations (similar to GMail email messages), which helps keep things organised.
