Senior Posts: 642 Group: Members Member #145 Joined: March 18, 2006	Bracket Surprise, its horribly advertised in the states. Anyway, I kept hearing about how well the dutch are doing, and I like how they look on the bracket. I'll try to be near a TV when they play Russia.

As England didn't qualify (argh!), I was half rooting for Spain as I think they have a great team. I think that Holland look like favourites to win now as they have just been playing so well and have such great players throughout their squad.

Senior Posts: 642 Group: Members Member #145 Joined: March 18, 2006	I guess Turkey has mounted a few last minute victories, unfortunately that probably ends with Germany. I was so disappointed when the Dutch lost. Russians had a fucking outstanding defense, and the dutch couldn't get any of their shots to go in. Plus we all got tired because we exhausted our substitutions. Anyway, I had to go at the end of the 90 minutes, and then at work they told me that the Russians had just scored 2 goals. They earned the victory, I would've felt bad if the Oranje just scored at the very end to tie//win it. I'm with you now Rory, "go spain!" Edited by Menstruating Vagina, Jun 21 2008, 08:20 PM.
