Senior Posts: 648 Group: Members Member #145 Joined: March 18, 2006	Well people were complaining about it being Vin Diesel, now they are complaining about it being this guy. Nobody will be happy until the Transporter gets the job. Anyway, I think this movie will be good... hopefully. This guy is much better than Vin could've done, but I agree with the Jason Statham. They say that they didn't want the movie to get confused with the transporter, or feel like a rip off the transporter. I already have caught myself confusing the 2, without them even containing the same actor. Anyway, here is the clip.

Senior Posts: 493 Group: Members Member #187 Joined: April 4, 2006	I think Olyphant can pull it off. Look at all the bitching about Daniel Craig as Bond, but I thought he did great. The teaser/trailer looked great. I'm a big Stratham fan, but I'd let this role go to someone else.

I <3 BAGGED MILK! Posts: 8,008,382 Group: Xtreme Crew Member #30 Joined: January 7, 2003	I just caught Olyphant in Live Free or Die Hard, and he was pretty good actually. But I don't know if I can really see him as Agent 47. It is pretty similar to people criticizing the new Bond, but I dunno, I just have this image of a real life version of Agent 47. Olyphant seems a bit, I dunno, I guess short, not as strong and like large looking, and the face structure just seems pretty different. Other than the physical differences though, I think Olyphant should be alright in this role. As for the movie itself, I'm damn excited for it, I've loved the Hitman series since it first came out, and have been looking forward to this film since it was announced. I just hope they do a good job on it, and don't taint the game with half assed film. trix

Who bitched about him? I saw him in Road to Perdition and after that, I knew the guy would be the best person to play Bond. (BTW watch road to perdition if you haven't. It's badass.)

Kinda non-threatening to look at. Which is kinda weird for the Hitman character... But I'm glad to give the benefit of the doubt. I poo pooed Daniel Craig and after Casino Royale he's toward the top in my book when it comes to James Bond portrayals. Perhaps even my favorite as the character appears to be closer to the original source material than any previous Bond... except for the tournament Texas Hold 'Em. I'm gonna wait to judge on this one.

Senior Posts: 493 Group: Members Member #187 Joined: April 4, 2006	Saw another trailer for this before I saw "The Kingdom". It looks really good. The guy looks more like Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins than the guy in the game...
