What are you all doing for Spring Break? Its going to be coming up in a few days/weeks/months. My brother's has already started since he's in college. That just means that he'll be working around the clock, though. I'm going to the Bahamas. I'll head down there for 3 days with a friend of mine to Atlantis, which is really nice and really fucking expensive. Going to get shit faced and hopefully pick up some ladies. Then after that we are going up to Florida with our wallets empty :(. Should be fun. |

mine doesnt start for 2 and a half more weeks. not doing too much. just driving 4 hours down the road to wrightsville beach. which is fine because there are only a few places id rather be anyways. |

One exam tomorrow, then BAM! I'm done, for spring break at least. Heading back home (Columbia) to visit people friday & go to the St. Pat's festival saturday, then sunday we leave to go to Myrtle Beach until that friday. Poolside room, booze, etc. Should be fun. |

Okay so might have been kicked out by the people I thought I was going with, because they were being douches, but I had a great time. Drove around myrtle beach after I was kicked out for a few hours, some friends came down and I spent like 20 hours at Dennys, then we left and went to my friend's dad's place. Sounds lame, right? Not when we're all in college and his dad is divorced, then we make it our mission to hook him up. Well, we drank a little sunday and monday morning pounded some liquor, took my camaro & went to the beach, then tuesday one guy went to stay with his dad in wilmington, and his dad was straight up british - even asked us if there would be a "disc jockey" at the club we were going to. would've never guessed his dad was, based on the way he talks though. My friend broke up w/his gf so we drove all the way to charlotte (or thereabouts) so they could 'resolve' shit, and then came back on wednesday. this girl with incredible boobs came over, drank with me up to 10 shots, then I made it to 25 rounds of jose cuervo. So I wake up, my leg is covered in blood and I basically needed stitches, but I said "fuck it" and it took about 2 weeks for it to not be an open wound. I still don't know what happened. Hit up this badass club thursday night, which I've never been much for, but I had a blast. then I get back friday and the girlfriend was bitching at me, so after a couple days of talking about it, I basically ended it. Mostly because a week of not talking to her, or her demanding to talk to me rather, made me so much less cynical, stressed, and in general I became a lot more fun to be around and a lot better. So now she has a boyfriend (I must've meant a lot for her to get over me in a week), and I've been making it my goal to just enjoy myself, meet some womens, and not get stressed out about crap. It was much more of a dramatic revelation the sunday before we started back (2 and a half weeks ago) but either way we're all slowly finding out that being single is so much better. A relationship in college is just too much stress to keep up with. |

Sounds overall pretty good, man. Glad that relationship shit got worked out how you wanted it to. I'm a totally different person after vacations like these. A few days of drinking and hanging out with friends really helps release me from my stressful self. I went to Orlando FL where I just went to disney world and ate at all the different "countries". Canada has some kickass burgers, it was the best place to eat at Disney world. We went to Atlantis in Nassau, Bahamas. It was the shittiest place alive. For 500 dollars a room you'd think that it'd be perfect. Well, you get overcharged for everything and then I got carded every fucking time I gambled. And every time they carded me, I'd lose atleast 50 dollars on the next hand. All in all after 2 times gambling they carded me 4 times. Fuck off, seriously. Anyway, my friend brought a bottle of absolut down and we mixed up drinks until there was none left. I was shitfaced(this was the first day). Well, we met some girlies at the bar downstairs and brought them up to the room. We didn't bone, and I'm glad. The next day I saw these bitches and the one I knew was ugly as fuck! Hahaha, good one, booze! Anyway, the next day I was dragging and my friends and I went to buy a 24 pack of miller light. Split iit to 12 for each of our rooms. I moved around shit in our room's minifridge to make room. Little did we know there were sensors that charged you immediately after touching things. My friend had to go home and his room had a 200 dollar bill, so we replaced all the shit and erased the fee. Oh, but the beers were getting warm. So we cycled them through the ice bucket to get them cold before we drank them. We each got 8 of the beers down before we gambled the last of our money away, and abused the casino's "free drink" policy. So before I was out of my first days' hangover I had 6 beers 2 "zombies" and about 2 more kamikazes. Then I somehow ended up at dinner with my friend's parents. That was fucking difficult. Oh, the next day I had a real bad headache, so I finished off the rest of those beers and drank water for the rest of the day. oh yea, somewhere around there I smoked a cuban for myself and stuck one home for my brother's birthday. |

Nice on the Cuban (somehow we got some for my friend's birthday, actually at a cigar store, but you had to ask), but I think I might steer clear of the Bahamas and the overly-costly trip. $500 sounds like a damn ripoff, if you asked me. I'm perfectly content with the crappy motel room in Myrtle (I mean there's nothing wrong with it, just not fancy) that has a stove, sink, full-size fridge and all that for $30-something a night that's become a tradition around here. Shit, just over $100 we had a place for 4 of us to stay, ground floor, beach front. No complaints there. Meh, I guess I don't need to travel too far to have fun. Some of the best times I've ever had in my life were no more than 50 feet away at the apartment across from me (spring sem last year), and then of course anytime the whole "crew" gets together, which is a gathering that's long overdue. |

Oh, that reminds me of the awesome deal I got on Cubans in the Dominican. A box of 10 Cohiba Cuban cigars for $60 USD. They were worth over $200 here. Luckily, the box and the cigars were tagged as "Made in the Dominican Republic" so I could get them back into the country. Ended up giving them to my grandfather who said they were the best cigars he's ever had in his life. |

Fuckers, working life sucks balls, wish I could go on a spring break. The highlight of my year so far was new years where I got mashed oh and last weekend where me and a mate got though a good few spliffs and I passed my ass out in a reclining chair. Fuck yes. |

(old, I know, so bumpage) One thing about working is that you don't have the extreme stress working against you, I guess. Freaking exam week is killing me. Had class friday, got out and studied for my exam saturday night. Slept a whileafterwards, then I got up monday morning at 8 a.m. to study before my 1:00 exam. After that I spent from around 5 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. studying for my tuesday 8:00 exam. Got done with that, slept for 4 hours and woke up around 4 p.m. (still tuesday), and I came in the library and I've been here since 5 p.m. yesterday, minus taking my exam and getting a quick shower. So I have to learn everything there is to know about statistics by 6:30 tonight. Got 5 hours to go. |
