So now that the game is released, what are your reactions to it? I don't like the ragdoll, but I don't HATE it. I'm still getting used to the driving, but I think I'll get pretty good soon. I like how badass Niko is. He beats the shit out of some dudes from pretty early on. The radio is OK, but its more realistic I guess since its more in the background/unnoticable. They have a lot of Bob Marley(especially Legend). I'd like to sit and listen a little bit to the radio, but I'm trying to make any kind of impression on the storyline. It feels like I've done a million missions, but am no closer to finishing. What are your opinions of multiplayer? I played one game of Mafiya and I didn't really like it. I kept doing what the mob boss told me and killing the other players and they all left. It seemed less like deathmatch or teamwork and more like an extension of single player. I'll have to try a new playlist tomorrow, probably cops n' crooks. |

Driving was a system shock, getting used to it now, radio's ok, seem to get the same stuff over and over already.... Combats a vast improvement, I love it. City, i've only seen a small section so cant really say. It seems alot more "grown up" than SA was which I like. and my last point, holy shit, how tough are the fecking police?! Overall, impressed so far, VERY impressed. |

Driving is totally different, yet seems a bit more realistic. If you go into a turn going like 60 mph, you're not going to do a very good job turning lol. The combat system is great, the cover works well. As for the city, I'm still only in the first area, but I like it so far, it just feels like a real city, people doing normal things, rather than just walking. I can't wait to get to the new parts though, because I thing like the downtown core of GTA's take on Manhattan will be the best part. So far though, I really, really like it. trix

yes the driving gets some taking used too havnt even touched a gun yet the one on one fighting looks pretty cool though city just feels alive messed around with the sixaxis doin wheelies on bikes good feature too

i got it at lunch today and i played for about 20 minutes. i like it so far, driving is definitely different. ill give a better impression tonight, because im about to log in for an extended amount of time. ok here it goes, this game is great! im loving every second of it. the beginning warm up missions were kinda boring but the game really got fun after those were over. the game says im about 10% done so ive still got a long road ahead. one thing, have yall heard the same songs on the radio over and over again. i swear on one of the rap stations all it plays is flashing lights by kanye and top down by swizz beatz |

A couple small things that I like: Autosave. No need to run back to the safehouse before turning the system off. Breaking into/hotwiring cars. In the past if it was locked you were out of luck. Getting drunk. Right when you come out of the bar it doesn't seem so bad, but after about a minute the camera starts going crazy. Driving is fun while drunk, though cops don't seem to like it too much. The various services you can get from friends like Roman's taxi service (though half the time he says there's nothing available when I call). |

The new controls are kinda tough to get used to for me, but the game is incredible. I've been having to work extra lately and haven't had the time to play much, so that's not helping the learning curve. But I'm having a great time with it. I like how you can climb now. |

Drunk driving is awesome...in the game, of course. I love getting fucked up with Jacob and trying to run from the cops with a couple stars. Usually doesn't turn out to well, but very fun. And as Verone said, when I'm basically done for I wait till I'm surrounded, pull the pin on a grenade and take everybody out with a bang. Next thing I'm going to try is getting shitfaced in real life, then getting shitfaced in the game and seeing how that turns out. Hopefully the camera movement doesn't give me the spins and make me vomit. |

Completed the story, it's fantasic, I love it. The city, is amazing, the third island feels a bit half assed though, theres nothing there. Radio, few hilarious bits, but overall, not as funny / interesting as before (no metal for me and LCHC is to short) Missing some of the things which seemed to be taking GTA in the right direction. Business and custom options. I hate Niko's clothes, but what can you do. Miss some of the more zany characters, the game feels alot more serious, which isnt a bad thing, just sort of miss the whacko's from previous games. I would have really liked to see more small references to previous GTA's or even cameo's from past characters. Would have been awesome to do a mission for Tommy V or shoot CJ because he was just shit. |

yea, i havnt seen any tie in with any of the past GTA games. i really figured that they would at least mention the leone family or some of the others from gta3 |
