Gangs...; Is GTA better?

Senior Posts: 648 Group: Members Member #145 Joined: March 18, 2006	In GTAIV they didn't really have gangs that wandered the streets. In the other ones they did. Would you prefer that GTA include gangs like before, or keep the streets clean? I liked having the gangs on the streets personally, but a lot of what I would prefer would take away from the maturity of the new game.

They are there (as far as I can tell), but are more realistic and blend in a lot more. Rather than having obvious groups of gangsters dressed in the same gang colours etc., you have one or two people on a street corner, or in a doorway that have guns etc. This seems more inline with the NY setting, and better for it in my opinion.

God Posts: 2,943 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: December 11, 2002	Random peds always try to kill me when I do something wrong. Dunno if they're gang members or just vigilantes. Some of them have guns. I've also seen groups of them standing around together and they'll all attack me if I piss one off. I do miss the clearly stated mafia and yakuza gangs that I used to see walking down the streets toting guns, but this way is alright too.
